Can I view the cameras on my phone?+
Yes. We set up secure app access and show you how to view live video and find recorded events.
Will the installation look tidy?+
That is a priority. We agree positions and cable routes before work starts, then install and align each camera carefully.
How many cameras do I need?+
It depends on your entrances, layout and what you want to achieve. A free survey lets us recommend useful coverage without unnecessary cameras.
Can CCTV work alongside my alarm?+
Yes. We can plan alarm and camera protection together so the system is easy to manage and suits the whole property.
How is video stored?+
Depending on the design, footage can be stored on a camera memory card, a network video recorder or an optional cloud service. We recommend capacity around the number of cameras and recording period you need.
Can cameras distinguish people, pets and vehicles?+
Compatible cameras use object recognition to identify people, pets and vehicles. This can make event searches and alerts more useful than general motion detection alone.
Does CCTV require a subscription?+
Local live viewing and recording do not inherently require a subscription. Optional cloud storage or professional monitoring may have an ongoing cost, which we set out clearly.
What happens if the broadband goes down?+
Local recording can continue when correctly configured, although remote viewing and app notifications need an internet connection. We design storage and connectivity around the resilience you require.
Can neighbours or public areas be masked?+
Yes. Compatible cameras support privacy zones, allowing parts of the view to be excluded. We also position cameras carefully and explain your responsibilities when recording beyond your boundary.
